CTMH Australasian Blog Hop - S1609 Blessed Beyond Measure SOTM

Hello and welcome aboard our September 2016 Blessed Beyond Measure Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from
then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you a project I have created featuring the September Stamp of the Month, Blessed Beyond Measure. This stamp set is available during this month only, for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.
I love the sentiments in this stamp set. Being thankful and grateful for my two happy, healthy kids is what inspired me to create this layout for their albums.

Don't forget to pin this photo to Pinterest

First I covered a sheet of White Daisy Cardstock with background stamping using all the different leaves in the set. I used our Mini Pigment Inks in our gorgeous new Adventure colours. I stamped in Emerald, Willow, Raspberry, Tangerine and also Sea Glass - our colour of the year!

I started stamping in the bottom right corner and as I got to the top I added some second generation stamping to lighten the design. I also stamped "Thankful" in Raspberry ink on a scrap of White Daisy with "to have you in my life" in Emerald ink.

Next I chose the matching cardstock colours for my photo mats. I used Emerald, Tangerine and Raspberry from the Adventure Cardstock Combo pack pictured below. I didn't follow a pattern or sketch for this layout, I just made it up as I went along. The Emerald mat is 4.5x6.5". The Tangerine piece is 4x7" and the Raspberry piece is 2x12".

I cut up leftovers to make the dovetail pieces and then distressed all the coloured cardstock pieces with our Edge Distresser. (I love this tool!) I used 3D foam tape to adhere the Thankful sentiment to the page.

I adhered everything to the page, adding White and Gold Ribbon and Pink Enamel Gems for embellishments. I used our Mini Glue Dots to adhere the ribbon as they're super strong!

At the end I popped in an extra stamped leaf under the corner of the photo. After I took the photo I removed the leaf, distressed the edges and stuck it back on...ahh that's better. It didn't look right with it's clean cut edges!

CTMH Australasian Blog Hop - Last Chance Annual Inspirations 2015/2016

Hello and welcome to the

Our Blog Hop participants are showcasing their favourite products from our Annual Inspirations (AI) Idea Book that have been available for the past year.
These products can only be purchased from our websites until the end of this month! Click HERE to shop online.
I have chosen the Paper Fundamentals Pack, their matching Fundamentals Stickers and Assortment. The packs come in our four colour collections: Whimsy, Adventure, Enchantment and Basics. The papers are all double-sided and such great value. Get them while stocks last!

This layout will suit any size photos as you can place them anywhere over the background papers. One side of these papers has an embossed pattern which you can see in my close-up photos.

All the stickers on the page, even the lettering, come from the Fundamentals Sticker pack and make the embellishing of the layout so quick and easy!
Look at the pennant stickers. So cute!
Now because we had a messy time all digging into the pavlova (no-one brought cutlery!) I decided to "mess up" the page a bit with watercolour. I pressed my Honey Ink pad together to get some ink on the lid and then used my Medium Flat Waterbrush to swipe it around the pages. Then I tapped the brush on a pencil to get a little splatter effect. Yes I did this AFTER I had finished the layout! I know...living on the edge.
When the ink was dry I stamped the journal lines from July's Stamp of the Month twice to get a longer story in, covering the gap in the middle where it wasn't perfect with more stickers. More posts on the Stamp Set HERE.

I love how this turned out and I love these papers!
Here is another layout I did using the same pack.

CTMH Magical Paper Pack

Today I am showing you how you can make amazing cards from your "leftovers" using the Magical Paper Pack, available until the end of August from the Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book (while stocks last)!

This is what you get for $15! The top sheet is a group of double-sided Picture My Life (PML) cards and since you get two sheets in every pack, I had some leftover. These are what I used to make my cards.

Don't forget to Pin this photo to Pinterest!

The top left card has a mat cut from Canary Cardstock but all the rest of the paper is from the PML sheet. I cut some up, covered some words, sliced and diced and layered to make these fun cards. The two M-size birthday stamps I used are only $5 each and so useful!  Then I just embellished using whatever I had in my stash.

Here are the products I used.

Today I am showing you two layouts of the same event. One is for my daughter's album and the other is for my son's album. This is how I scrapbook. I work on both albums at the same time so I know where I'm at.
I only used one sheet of this double-sided B&T (background & texture) paper from the Calypso Paper Pack and cut it into 3x3" squares. I then stamped the designs I would be using from the featured stamp set in Cotton Candy, Lagoon and Black Exclusive Inks.
I chose Cotton Candy and Black Cardstock as the base pages and cut down my photos to 3x3" and 3x6". Then I just re-arranged the photos and mats until I was happy with the layouts. If you wanted bigger photos and less border around the edges, this layout would also work with 3.5" squares.

Then it was time to cut out my stamped images using my favourite Micro-tip scissors. Once again I just played around with the placement of all the pieces until I was happy with how it looked. CTMH really makes it so easy with matching Cardstock and Inks! I also used some of the Calypso Complements and Sequins to embellish.
You can also get all these in the Calypso Workshop Kit.

Here are some more beautiful projects using From The Notebook Stamp of the Month

The Long Way Home S1606

Today I would like to share with you a layout I have made for my son's album featuring the June Stamp of the Month, The Long Way Home S1606. This stamp set is available only during this month for $27, or for just $7.50 when you place an order of $75 or more.

This page is all about finding the best route to take when riding to school so the Stamp of the Month was perfect! I used papers from my Urban WOTG Kit and most of them were leftover scraps! The Stoked stamp is from the set that comes with the kit. I didn't use a sketch for this one sorry, I just made it up as I went. Once it was all stuck down I started stamping.

First I stamped the Sun in Saffron Ink under the corner of the word Stoked. Then I stamped the winding arrow in Saffron Ink using second generation stamping straight on the page under the journal box. I stamped it again using Sapphire Ink on a scrap of Whisper cardstock, fussy cut it out and adhered it just above the other one.  Then I stamped the bike in Sapphire.

I then stamped the scenic route image straight on the background page in Sapphire Ink and it was all finished!

Georgie Workshop Kit - Australasian CTMH Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the CTMH Australasian Blog Hop featuring the
If you have arrived here from Lauren Moore - CTMH Craftings
then you are in the right place. Just click the link at the bottom of this post and you will hop over to the next blog. Don't forget to pin or save any ideas you like!

I have a few different ideas to show you today. You will see that the Stamp Set in the Georgie WOTG Kit is baby themed but I have created this double page layout featuring my dog Tasha to show you that you can use this pack for any theme. At my workshop one of my ladies used this layout for a man's birthday.

I stamped the "2 years 3 months" and "sweet" and the tiny heart with the included stamp set. I then used bows, gems and twine to embellish.

The next project was for a baby shower card and gift for my cousin.

I made the card using this month's Stamp of the Month "Celebrate With Cake", colouring the cakes with Watercolour Pencils and blending with a wet paintbrush. I then made a gift card holder as the envelope and embellished with elephants from the Assortment pack and Green Shimmer Trim.
There are white enamel gems on the front of the card too.

I used the "Congratulations" from Cute Koalas D1642 stamp set and the onesie on the inside of the card.

I also made a bag full of 3x3" Thank you cards using the Animal Greetings (D1679) stamp set. $7USD from the sale of each stamp set goes to Operation Smile! The parents-to-be will now have plenty of thank you cards to send out after the baby is born. Don't you just love it when everything is matching?!
