S1702 Easter Bunny CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Close To My Heart

I would like to share with you a sweet card I have created featuring the February Stamp of the Month, Easter Bunny S1702. This stamp set is available during this month only, for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.
This adorable stamp set is obviously designed for Easter cards and scrapbooking layouts (I will definitely be making those!) but I have used the bunnies this time for something different. I designed this as a Wedding card but it would also be gorgeous for new parents, engagement etc.

I used the new Hello Lovely papers and Complements (the gold hearts), Blush Shimmer Ribbon and Gold Glitter Gems, which are all included in the kit.
The card base is 6x12" White Daisy Cardstock with a 5.75" square mat in Fern and a 4x5" floral B&T mat, both of which I distressed the edges.
The Congratulations sentiment is from C1673 Some Kinda Wonderful Cardmaking stamp set.

I stamped the bunnies in Memento Ink so that I could colour them with our ShinHan Markers. You can also use our Watercolour Pencils or Paints.
The head uses WG4 Warm Grey. The Ears are Barely Beige, the shirt is Pastel Peach and the shorts are Sap Green.
On the inside is a 5.75 x 11.75" mat of green pattern B&T and two white mats 4.5" square that have also been distressed. The sentiment is double stamped to give a shadow effect in Fern and then Black. It's also from the stamp set C1673.

I stamped the bunnies and then masked the feet to stamp the grass in Fern Ink. The border is drawn freehand with Sap Green ShinHan.
Mrs Bunny is wearing a Turquoise Blue dress with a Light Orange collar. Mr Bunny is wearing a Pastel Green shirt, Sap Green tie and Clay shorts.

I hope you like my card as much as I enjoyed making it!
