Oh Deer CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our CTMH Australasian Blog Hop featuring the Oh Deer Paper Collection. If you have arrived here from Maz Wood: aMAZing Close To My Heart Creations you are in the right place. If you have just joined in  click on the link when you get to the bottom of this post to continue on this circular hop to the next Consultant's great ideas.
The Oh Deer collection is only available while stocks last until December 31st, 2016 from the retiring Holiday Expressions Idea Book.
I have created anything and everything out of these papers in the last couple of months! Page layouts for the beach, Christmas and Birthday Cards, gift boxes and decorations... They're all so beautiful.

This is the Christmas layout I created for my workshop ladies to do and they all loved making their own.
It's perfect for your Christmas photos as they can be any size and shape. I started with Colonial White Cardstock for the base pages.
For the title I used the Christmas Thin Cuts and Sea Glass Glitter Paper in my Cuttlebug. I adhered it to Desert Sand cardstock with Bonding Memories Glue Pen and daubed the edges with Cocoa Ink. I used half inch strips of Sea Glass Glitter Paper, zip strips and Desert Sand with two different B&T papers, all cut at 11" long. These pages will suit my Summer beachy Christmas photos perfectly!

The cute little woodgrain trees and stars are from the Oh Deer Assortment and the gold glitter stars are from last year's Fundamentals kit. You could cut your own from Gold Glitter Paper too.
The three journal strips are White Daisy scraps 3" × 0.75" and I drew a border using my Clay ShinHan Marker.

CTMH Australasian Blog Hop - S1612 Thoughful Flowers SOTM

Hello and welcome aboard our December 2016 Thoughtful Flowers Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Maz Wood: aMAZing Close TO My Heart Creations then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

I would like to share with you some cards I have created featuring the December Stamp of the Month, Thoughtful Flowers S1612. This stamp set is available during this month only, for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75 or more.

Now I'm predominately a scrapbooker but when I saw this stamp set I had a picture in my mind and I just had to make some cards. I will also reproduce them onto page layouts so it's a win for me!
Don't forget to pin photos to Pinterest!
For this card I did random stamping onto Black Cardstock using White Daisy Pigment Ink. I stamped over the top of two of the flowers with Versamark Ink and then heat embossed before adding the Gold Foil Tape and gems. Next I stamped the sentiment in Black Ink on a scrap of White Daisy, dovetailed the end and adhered it with 3D-Foam Tape.

This next card was a little hard to photograph well. Again I random stamped the Black Cardstock but this time I used coloured Mini Pigment Inks and then heat embossed the lot. I used a piece of lace ribbon from the Rustic Home ribbon pack and Bitty Sparkles to embellish. I also used 3D-Foam Tape to adhere the cute little sentiment: You're a whole lot of wonderful.

With my third card I stamped in coloured Pigment Inks on White Daisy Cardstock, masking some of the flowers to overlap them. I adhered it to a black mat and added Gold Shimmer Trim along the top edge. I stamped another flower and fussy cut it out, cutting off the leaves and tucking one back under it when I adhered it to the card with 3D-foam Tape. This time I used the Best Wishes sentiment in Black ink, adhered it with foam tape and added gems.
