A Happy Hello S1502 : CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Stamp of the month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Tracey Ray - Aussie Inkthen you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you this layout which features February Stamp of the Month S1502 A Happy Hello available exclusively throughout February for $27 or for just $5 when you spend $75.
I have also used Doodled Designs A1170 and Dotted Love M1026 Stamp Sets.

I used both sides of my 2x2" blocks and 1" block to make the stamping faster. Simply switch from one side to the other! The Exclusive Ink colours I have used are Honey Z2162, Pear Z2197, Sorbet Z2164 & Gypsy Z2190.

Did you know that it is very economical to make your own patterned papers with background stamping? I started with a White Daisy Cardstock base and placed a square of scrap copy paper in the centre to mask out where my border will go. Now start with one colour, ink up your stamps and go for it. Using one colour at a time and cleaning in between colours, will help you to avoid putting Gypsy Ink onto your Honey stamp pad!

Now remove the scrap paper and you have a beautiful border. I used a purple pen from my stash to hand draw a rough border and then stamped the Doodled Design for my title in Gypsy. Add the two little stamped hearts and then stamp the stalk from A Happy Hello in Pear Ink. It comes straight but you can bend it to your liking! I cut a 6x8" mat from Sorbet Cardstock as I will be adding a 5x7" photo of my daughter.

Ink up the I Love You sentiment with Sorbet Ink and stamp in your title. Next you need to stamp a few of the smallest flowers on scrap White Daisy cardstock and cut them out. I used a circle punch from my stash to punch them out after stamping. Adhere a few to the stamped flower stalk with 3D Foam Tape to give them dimension and an extra one down the bottom of the border.

A Happy Hello is only available until February 28 from your CTMH Consultant.
