Stargazer CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome aboard the Close To My Heart Australasian blog hop showcasing the Stargazer paper collection.

This is a circular hop. If you arrived here from
then you are in the right place. Simply read through this post and click on the link at the end to hop to the next blog. Don't forget to Pin any ideas to Pinterest to save for later! Keep "hopping" until you find yourself back where you started from. Each blog will showcase a project featuring the
Stargazer Paper Pack and coordinating products.
I decided to make my very first Shaker card using the Stargazer paper and Complements and March's Stamp of the Month Birthday Time
First I sponged Sapphire Ink around the front edges of the White card base. I cut a mat from the astronaut paper, cut out the circle window and distressed around the edges. I used some coloured sequins from my stash, removed the adhesive dots from the back and popped them in a little pocket that I made out of a plastic sleeve and attached this to the back of the circle window. I then attached the card front onto the card using 3D foam tape.

I added a section from a circle of red stripe paper onto the bottom left corner, added some silver spot stickers and part of a zip strip. I took the rocket sticker from the Complements and stuck it onto Canary cardstock before cutting it out and sticking it down with 3D foam tape. I stamped It's your birthday in Sapphire ink on a scrap of white cardstock and inked the edges before adhering it with 3D foam tape.

I have also made the Scrapbooking layouts using instructions that come in the Stargazer Workshop kit. I changed them up a little to suit my photos.
The first layout really shows that you don't only have to use this pack for little boys!

I used it for my daughter's album to scrapbook the evening we watched the supermoon from the beachfront with lots of other families from the community.

The second layout I encorporated March's Stamp of the Month again, making an awesome birthday layout with this versatile stamp set.

Explosion Box Card - Baby Boy - Chelsea Gardens

It's March. Our Seasonal Expressions catalogue came out January 1st and I'm still creating with the Chelsea Gardens collection
But this time it's different. This time it's a baby BOY card.

This pack is so obviously pretty with all the flowers and butterflies BUT I want to show you how the other papers in the pack can be non-girly.
I searched Pinterest for instructions for an exploding box card and found one from Lori Williams that was easy to follow. I'll pop the link at the bottom of this post to her blog as it has all the measurements. Here is my baby boy card box.

I used Glacier and Cashmere cardstock with Glacier, Heather and Charcoal Inks.

I also used Watercolour pencil to colour in my koala.

I used four stamp sets from my stash to decorate the card.
