Today I would like to share with you this album layout which features May Stamp of the Month S1505 - Just Sayin' available exclusively throughout May for just $5 when you spend $75. Or just pay rrp of $27 for the SOM if you don't need to order $75 worth this month.

The first page is for my daughter's album. I stamped four different sentiments in Pear, Goldrush and Sorbet Exclusive Inks and fussy-cut them out with my fabulous Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors. I then adhered them to the page using 3D Foam tape to make them stand out. I have repeated the page for my son's album, using "This is cool" instead of "That happened" and changing the papers.

The papers I have used are from the Taste of Summer Paper pack promotion for National Scrapbooking Month, available May 1st.

Typed Note S1504 April SOM: CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop
April SOM - Typed Note S1504

 April SOM

Hello and welcome aboard our Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from , then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post which will take you to the next great idea!

Today I would like to share with you this layout which features April Stamp of the Month S1504 - Typed Note available exclusively throughout April for $27 or for just $5 when you spend $75.

I wanted to create a page showcasing one of my Nan's poems as we are coming up to Mother's Day next month. Nan used to write poems from when she was a young girl, throughout her life and after she passed away these were made into a special book for us to keep.
I made a copy of "On Mother's Day", penned in 1947 and printed it at home onto a sheet of Yuletide Carol B&T.

March Stamp of the Month Ideas - Choose Happy

March Stamp of the Month Ideas - Choose Happy

Just over one week left to grab this month's SOM! $27 or just $5 with an order of $75. These fun frames and borders look great whether they are stamped in a colour or stamped in black and then coloured in with our ShinHan Markers. Just a few little dabs of colour make them look even more special.

For these cards I used our Vine embossing folder to emboss some Flaxen cardstock for the mat. I stamped the frames in black ink and then coloured some sections with our ShinHan markers. I added Teal Shimmer Trim and Purple Glitter Gems to the card on the left and a Chocolate cardstock strip with Flaxen Extra Thick Twine to the card on the right.

This card I have made has a mat in Sorbet Cardstock. I random stamped a White Daisy mat in Black Ink and then stamped a Sorbet Ink frame on a scrap of White Daisy. I stamped "you're special" in black and cut the frame out with my Non-stick Micro Tip Scissors. I used 3D-Foam tape adhere the frame, giving it dimension. Add a puffy heart in matching Sorbet colour and it's done. Easy-peasy. I love how it symbolises someone who is unique, is special!

Never-Ending Card
This is my first attempt at making a never-ending card. I followed a tutorial that I found on Split-Coast Stampers website and found it much easier than it looks!
I used up my leftover Free to Be Me papers and of course, March SOM.
This time I cut out the centre of the stamped frames with my scissors and added some gold Sequins and Teal Shimmer Trim for embellishments.

A Happy Hello S1502 : CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Stamp of the month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Tracey Ray - Aussie Inkthen you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you this layout which features February Stamp of the Month S1502 A Happy Hello available exclusively throughout February for $27 or for just $5 when you spend $75.
I have also used Doodled Designs A1170 and Dotted Love M1026 Stamp Sets.

I used both sides of my 2x2" blocks and 1" block to make the stamping faster. Simply switch from one side to the other! The Exclusive Ink colours I have used are Honey Z2162, Pear Z2197, Sorbet Z2164 & Gypsy Z2190.

Did you know that it is very economical to make your own patterned papers with background stamping? I started with a White Daisy Cardstock base and placed a square of scrap copy paper in the centre to mask out where my border will go. Now start with one colour, ink up your stamps and go for it. Using one colour at a time and cleaning in between colours, will help you to avoid putting Gypsy Ink onto your Honey stamp pad!

Now remove the scrap paper and you have a beautiful border. I used a purple pen from my stash to hand draw a rough border and then stamped the Doodled Design for my title in Gypsy. Add the two little stamped hearts and then stamp the stalk from A Happy Hello in Pear Ink. It comes straight but you can bend it to your liking! I cut a 6x8" mat from Sorbet Cardstock as I will be adding a 5x7" photo of my daughter.

Ink up the I Love You sentiment with Sorbet Ink and stamp in your title. Next you need to stamp a few of the smallest flowers on scrap White Daisy cardstock and cut them out. I used a circle punch from my stash to punch them out after stamping. Adhere a few to the stamped flower stalk with 3D Foam Tape to give them dimension and an extra one down the bottom of the border.

A Happy Hello is only available until February 28 from your CTMH Consultant.

How To Stamp Titles with Alphabet Stamps

Today I will show you step-by-step how to stamp a title with CTMH Alphabet Stamps. I have used Circus Alphabet Stamp Set which is NLA but just choose any set you have. If you need to purchase some they are available here for delivery Australia-wide.
I have also used papers and stamps from the Year>>>Noted Kit. This kit is only available during January for National Papercrafting Month and it's only $10!
Take a look at the offer here.

If you are not too confident with stamping titles, I would stamp onto separate cardstock and then attach it to your page. I used foam tape to give it a 3D look.

Start with your Versamat grid side up to help you line up your letters. Peel your first letter off the stamp set, turn it over and place it on your mat like this...

Use your Microtip Scissors to manoeuvre each stamp as they won't stick to them. They WILL stick to your fingers and drive you crazy trying to get them straight otherwise.
Place your My Acrylix Block on top of your finished word and push down a little to make sure it's stuck. Now you are ready to ink it up on our Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad!

Flip your Versamat over to the foam side before you stamp onto your cardstock.

Now my second word is quite long and has repeating letters. This can be tricky if you haven't done it before so let me show you how to do it!

I lined up the C, O, N, V, E and then I took off the first N and put it back down after the E to get the right spacing.
Then I put on the T, I, and put the N back. Next I stamped this onto the cardstock and the other Ns and O will come later.
Next I took the N off the block and moved it after the E and put the O after the I. The other letters could now be removed with just the n and O left on. They will have the right spaces and will fit perfectly.

The O was taken off and the last N was stamped at the end.
I coloured this Alphabet in with our ShinHan Markers, cut the cardstock to fit the page and cut flags in the ends. I added 3D Foam Tape to the back and adhered it to my page. Finished!

The cutting instructions for this layout can be found in our How To Book "Make It From Your Heart Vol 1"
