A Happy Hello S1502 : CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Hello and welcome aboard our Stamp of the month Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Tracey Ray - Aussie Inkthen you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

Today I would like to share with you this layout which features February Stamp of the Month S1502 A Happy Hello available exclusively throughout February for $27 or for just $5 when you spend $75.
I have also used Doodled Designs A1170 and Dotted Love M1026 Stamp Sets.

I used both sides of my 2x2" blocks and 1" block to make the stamping faster. Simply switch from one side to the other! The Exclusive Ink colours I have used are Honey Z2162, Pear Z2197, Sorbet Z2164 & Gypsy Z2190.

Did you know that it is very economical to make your own patterned papers with background stamping? I started with a White Daisy Cardstock base and placed a square of scrap copy paper in the centre to mask out where my border will go. Now start with one colour, ink up your stamps and go for it. Using one colour at a time and cleaning in between colours, will help you to avoid putting Gypsy Ink onto your Honey stamp pad!

Now remove the scrap paper and you have a beautiful border. I used a purple pen from my stash to hand draw a rough border and then stamped the Doodled Design for my title in Gypsy. Add the two little stamped hearts and then stamp the stalk from A Happy Hello in Pear Ink. It comes straight but you can bend it to your liking! I cut a 6x8" mat from Sorbet Cardstock as I will be adding a 5x7" photo of my daughter.

Ink up the I Love You sentiment with Sorbet Ink and stamp in your title. Next you need to stamp a few of the smallest flowers on scrap White Daisy cardstock and cut them out. I used a circle punch from my stash to punch them out after stamping. Adhere a few to the stamped flower stalk with 3D Foam Tape to give them dimension and an extra one down the bottom of the border.

A Happy Hello is only available until February 28 from your CTMH Consultant.

How To Stamp Titles with Alphabet Stamps

Today I will show you step-by-step how to stamp a title with CTMH Alphabet Stamps. I have used Circus Alphabet Stamp Set which is NLA but just choose any set you have. If you need to purchase some they are available here for delivery Australia-wide.
I have also used papers and stamps from the Year>>>Noted Kit. This kit is only available during January for National Papercrafting Month and it's only $10!
Take a look at the offer here.

If you are not too confident with stamping titles, I would stamp onto separate cardstock and then attach it to your page. I used foam tape to give it a 3D look.

Start with your Versamat grid side up to help you line up your letters. Peel your first letter off the stamp set, turn it over and place it on your mat like this...

Use your Microtip Scissors to manoeuvre each stamp as they won't stick to them. They WILL stick to your fingers and drive you crazy trying to get them straight otherwise.
Place your My Acrylix Block on top of your finished word and push down a little to make sure it's stuck. Now you are ready to ink it up on our Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad!

Flip your Versamat over to the foam side before you stamp onto your cardstock.

Now my second word is quite long and has repeating letters. This can be tricky if you haven't done it before so let me show you how to do it!

I lined up the C, O, N, V, E and then I took off the first N and put it back down after the E to get the right spacing.
Then I put on the T, I, and put the N back. Next I stamped this onto the cardstock and the other Ns and O will come later.
Next I took the N off the block and moved it after the E and put the O after the I. The other letters could now be removed with just the n and O left on. They will have the right spaces and will fit perfectly.

The O was taken off and the last N was stamped at the end.
I coloured this Alphabet in with our ShinHan Markers, cut the cardstock to fit the page and cut flags in the ends. I added 3D Foam Tape to the back and adhered it to my page. Finished!

The cutting instructions for this layout can be found in our How To Book "Make It From Your Heart Vol 1"

Yuletide Carol Santa Photo layout

I just love the traditional Christmas colours in this Santa Photo layout. (Even though my daughter is in pink! What was I thinking?)
You could follow on with this theme for your Christmas photos in your album too. Just choose layouts to suit your photos from our Reflections book and use these same cardstock colours.
Start with a sheet of Black Cardstock. Cut your other cardstock colours as follows:
Ruby 8x10" and a 1/2 x 12" strip
Yuletide Carol Print 3&1/2 x 10&1/2"
New England Ivy 2&1/2 x 12"
Kraft 6 x 8"
Tag- Colonial White
Pinwheel- Yuletide Carol 2&1/2" square
Distress the edges of the coloured pieces.
Attach the large Ruby piece 1" in from the left border and 1" in from the bottom border.
Attach the Yuletide piece 1&3/4" in from the left border and flush with the bottom border.
Attach the NE Ivy Piece 1&1/2" up from the bottom border.
Attach the 1/2" Ruby strip along the top of the NE Ivy.
Attach the Kraft piece 2" up from the bottom and 2&1/4" in from the left border.
Now attach your 5x7 Santa photo!
Use the square of printed Yuletide To make a pinwheel. Cut all corners half way
in from the point to the centre of the square. Stick a Glue Dot in the center and fold one side of each point into the middle. Stick a clear sparkle that has been coloured with our ShinHan markers in the middle. I have used markers in Carmine,Sap Green and Marigold on the clear sparkles on this page.
Next you need a tag. You can use your Cricut or hand cut one or use an old tag maker like I did. I stamped Merry Sweet Christmas from the Candyland Holiday Stamp Set (D1557) which is only $10 this month with your $75 order. Usually $27! I used Ruby Ink and also daubed the edges of the tag. I used a scrap of twine but you could also use our Bakers Twine Z1921. Attach it with 3D Foam tape Z1151 to make it pop! Add extra coloured sparkles to your liking.
CTMH Products I have used can all be found on my website with delivery to anywhere in Australia!
Black Cardstock 1386,  Ruby Cardstock X5927, New England Ivy Cardstock 1282,

Home for the Holidays S1410: CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our "Stamp of the Month" Australasian Close To My Heart Blog Hop.
If you have arrived here from Anne's blog
http://mummyyoumadethis.blogspot.com/2014/10/home-for-holidays-s1410-ctmh-stamp-of.html then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

I would like to share with you my Christmas design for decorating our My Creations Kraft Container Z1833.
It features our October Stamp Of The Month "Home for the Holidays S1410" available exclusively from CTMH throughout October for $27 or just $5 when you place a $75 order.

I have created my own printed paper using background stamping. This way you don't need any Christmas papers in your stash! Start with a sheet of Pear Cardstock X5764 and lie it on the foam back of the Versamat Z1279. Attach the Lolly stamp to one side of a 2"x2" My Acrylix Block Y1003 and the Candy Cane to the other side. Random stamp the images with Pear Ink Z2197 quite close together all over the cardstock. Cut a 1"x10" strip for the side of the lid, a 3"x10" piece to wrap around the container, and then a circle 2 3/4" across. Use the leftovers to make a card!

Next you will need to stamp three baubles, dreaming believing wishing, and the Do Not Open tag on White Daisy Cardstock 1385 with Cranberry Ink Z2116 using the 3x3" My Acrylix Block.
Cut these 5 pieces out with our Micro-tip Scissors Z534, leaving a small white border.
Cut 3 strips of Cranberry Cardstock 1272 each 1/2" x 10". Note there are only two in the pic, but I used three.
Cut 2 pieces of Silver Shimmer Trim Z1799, 10" long.

If you have the time to wait for it to dry, add Liquid Glass Z679 to the trees on the baubles and the stars on the dreaming title to make them shine! Leave them flat until they are dry. I also used Liquid Glass to adhere all the pieces to the container.

Adhere the circle of Pear cardstock to the top of the lid and then the Do Not Open tag to the top with Foam Tape Z1151. Wrap the 1" strip of Pear around the side of the lid.
Adhere the Pear and Cranberry cardstock pieces to the container starting at the seam at the back, wrapping around and back to the seam. Next add the strips of Shimmer Trim.

Use the Sparkles Clear Flourishes-small Z1812 to decorate around the top. I used two of the curly ones in the middle. Adhere the dreaming believing wishing title to the front with foam tape. Then adhere the baubles on the sides and back with Liquid Glass.
All finished! I hope you enjoyed my post.

During October we also have a promotion called Ribbon Revelry. With each qualifying order of $65 you will receive a bonus Chevron Ribbon for FREE! Each ribbon, Ruby or Outdoor Denim, has a retail value of $9.50. Which one will you get? It's a surprise.

Start with a 6x12" piece of Chocolate Cardstock for the card base, scored and folded in half.
Stamp the tree in Ponderosa Pine Ink on Colonial White Cardstock 3.75 x 5" then daub the edges with Chocolate Ink using Sponge Daubers. Adhere it to a piece of Autumn Terracotta 4 x 5.25", then adhere this to the left side of the card base. Add a strip of Topiary Striped Washi Tape down the right hand side and a little flag of Autumn Terracotta Cardstock. I tied on some Black Hemp from my stash but you could also use our Baker's Twine.
Next I stamped DAD with the Urban Alphabet Stamp Set. I used Chocolate Ink on a scrap of Olive Cardstock with a mat of Autumn Terracotta. Adhere this sentiment with our 3D Foam Tape and add Durable Triangle Studs as shown.

Smile. It's the best day ever!

I have made this card using the Pathfinding WOTG kit (G1082). It could be used for a birthday, Father's Day, congratulations etc. It would be perfect for both males and females.
I started with a card base from our bulk  Value pack (X254). I adhered a 4 x 5.25" mat of B&t duos paper.
For the flags I used a 1.5" wide strip of Autumn Terracotta card stock (1270), a 0.75" wide strip of Olive (1245), a strip of Gold Shimmer Trim (Z1985) and popped on a Gold Sequin (Z2012).
I stamped the sentiment in Goldrush Ink (Z2123) and added some Foam tape (Z1151) for a 3D effect.

Send a bunch of love with this Bouquet Card!

I was shown a YouTube video making a card like this out of photocopy paper. So I grabbed my Brushed WOTG Kit (G1087) and gave it a go! I love how it turned out.
The butterfly stamps are from Your Own Kind of Wonderful (D1627). Have a Beautiful Day and the flower stamps are from Happy Birds (C1600).
They have all been coloured with our ShinHan Markers.
The leaf stamp from the WOTG Kit and the sponged edges were done in Pear Exclusive Ink (Z2197).

I also used White Daisy Cardstock (1385), Cotton Candy Cardstock  (X5760), Glue Dots (1772), Bonding Memories Glue Pen (1512), Pink Glitter Gems ( Z1807)
