Family is Forever S1409A : CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our "Stamp of the Month" Australasian Close To My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Vandra's Virtual CTMH Craftroom then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, please join in by following the link at the end of this post.

I would like to share with you this Father's Day (or birthday) card. It features our September Stamp of the Month Family is Forever (S1409) available exclusively from Close To My Heart throughout September for $27 or for just $5 when you place a $75 order.

Start with a 6x12" piece of Chocolate Cardstock for the card base, scored and folded in half.
Stamp the tree in Ponderosa Pine Ink on Colonial White Cardstock 3.75 x 5" then daub the edges with Chocolate Ink using Sponge Daubers. Adhere it to a piece of Autumn Terracotta 4 x 5.25", then adhere this to the left side of the card base. Add a strip of Topiary Striped Washi Tape down the right hand side and a little flag of Autumn Terracotta Cardstock. I tied on some Black Hemp from my stash but you could also use our Baker's Twine.
Next I stamped DAD with the Urban Alphabet Stamp Set. I used Chocolate Ink on a scrap of Olive Cardstock with a mat of Autumn Terracotta. Adhere this sentiment with our 3D Foam Tape and add Durable Triangle Studs as shown.

During September we also have a promotion called "30 Years of Happy" to celebrate National Stamping Month and Jeanette Lynton's 30 years in the industry!
To get your FREE Stamp Set with 30 stamps on it, just order $30 worth of stamps. Click here to shop.

Family is Forever (S1409A) is only available until September 30th from your CTMH consultant.  I'd love you to leave a comment before heading off to the next stop:

Smile. It's the best day ever!

I have made this card using the Pathfinding WOTG kit (G1082). It could be used for a birthday, Father's Day, congratulations etc. It would be perfect for both males and females.
I started with a card base from our bulk  Value pack (X254). I adhered a 4 x 5.25" mat of B&t duos paper.
For the flags I used a 1.5" wide strip of Autumn Terracotta card stock (1270), a 0.75" wide strip of Olive (1245), a strip of Gold Shimmer Trim (Z1985) and popped on a Gold Sequin (Z2012).
I stamped the sentiment in Goldrush Ink (Z2123) and added some Foam tape (Z1151) for a 3D effect.

Send a bunch of love with this Bouquet Card!

I was shown a YouTube video making a card like this out of photocopy paper. So I grabbed my Brushed WOTG Kit (G1087) and gave it a go! I love how it turned out.
The butterfly stamps are from Your Own Kind of Wonderful (D1627). Have a Beautiful Day and the flower stamps are from Happy Birds (C1600).
They have all been coloured with our ShinHan Markers.
The leaf stamp from the WOTG Kit and the sponged edges were done in Pear Exclusive Ink (Z2197).

I also used White Daisy Cardstock (1385), Cotton Candy Cardstock  (X5760), Glue Dots (1772), Bonding Memories Glue Pen (1512), Pink Glitter Gems ( Z1807)

August Stamp of the Month "What a Hoot"

On the following page layout I have combined the Pathfinding WOTG kit with August SOM What a Hoot. The bat is an owl turned upside down and coloured in with our ShinHan markers. The pumpkin, heart and Smile sentiment are from the stamp set exclusive to the WOTG kit.

Pop-up box cards

Look what I made with papers and embellishments that I STILL have left from my WOTG kit. I swear these kits are SUCH good value!
This is my first attempt at the pop-up card design. Perfect for Mother's Day! The instructions were found on www.splitcoaststampers.com
The floral paper has the green pattern on the back so I only used one sheet of B&T Duos and one sheet of Crystal Blue Cardstock. The "Thanks(big time)" and "LOVE" stamps are from April's SOM "Balloon Talk".
The strip along the top edge is a section of the zip strip cut off the B&T Duos. I love how everything coordinates!
Even the clear plastic strips holding up the embellishments are from the backing sheet in the Assortments in the WOTG kit. Too clever!
